At Tower Bridge Exhibition this month visitors
can experience the evocative
London in
Black and White Photographic exhibition, featuring an era of
London and its people in a time gone by. From July 23
children of all ages can once again be entertained with Victorian
Games, from giant hopscotch to deck quoits and roller ball.
Children can also enjoy the new fun Tower Bridge Passport, which
allows them to design their own passport photo and collect stickers
throughout the exhibition.
City of London Festival

Each summer the City of London Festival brings the City's unique
buildings and outdoor spaces to life with an extensive artistic
programme of music, visual arts, film, walks and talks, much of it
free to the public. Inaugurated in 1962 to revitalise the cultural
life of the City it has established itself as one of the UK's
leading arts events. The Festival entertains all those that live,
work and visit this special location with unique events and

London Bridges Walk- In association with Kidney Research
Date: Sun 10 July- Where: Potters Field
Due to popular demand, the London Bridges Walk 2011 will return
to Potters Fields Park! With it's great view of The Thames and
Tower Bridge this venue is perfect to host the start and finish
area.
Feel the camaraderie as you join kidney patients, their families
and friends, as well as our other dedicated supporters all wearing
their purple t-shirts with pride!
This is an event that anyone can enter, young or old, and offers
the chance to pass by many of London’s most spectacular sights.

Rites of Life Exhibition
Date: 1 July - 6 September 2011

All round the world people have developed ceremonies and events
to mark the passage of their lives from one stage to another.
During more than seven years, Swedish photographer, Anders Ryman*,
travelled the world to record and photographs such rites.
This major exhibition, Rites of Life, will feature his most
compelling images shown in a large-scale outdoor exhibition,
consisting of more than 50 images and two information panels,
mounted on separate illuminated screens, making the exhibition
available FREE to the public 24 hours a day.
The exhibition will be staged at More London Riverside in front
of The Scoop at More London amphitheatre, situated between City
Hall and HMS Belfast. The Tower of London is just across the
River. Thousands of people work in this area, others saunter
along the riverside and Queen's Walk from London Bridge to Tower
Bridge.

London Youth Dance

The London Youth Dance Weekend is a much loved fixture on the
youth dance calendar. With a carousel of open air
performances animating The Scoop at More London, this is a not to
be missed event for audience and performers alike.
More than forty youth dance companies from London and beyond
come together each day to produce this back to back programme of
uplifting dance performances. From break dance to ballet,
contemporary to kathak, there is sure to be something to set your
feet tapping!
The London Youth Dance Weekend is a rare chance to experience the
energy and vibe created by dance in the open air.
